1911 Panhard et Levassor Touring. 12/16 Poppet valve engine. Driven by French owner Jean Djaniguian this magnificent car completed the Veteran Car Club's Silver Jubilee Rally in 1955. Later it passed in to the hands of George R Norton, President of The Antique Automobile Club of America. In 1960 as part of the AACA's Silver Jubilee celebrations, George brought over a 246 member delegation for the VCC's Brighton Run. A second American invasion was again led by George Norton for the 1964 Brighton run, (as part of the AACA's European vacation tour). George continued to campaigned this car across America which included the the Glidden tour in 1976. Pictured above in USA where I purchased it, below landed in UK in 1988. - Sold.
