1934 BSA TW34-10 Special Sports.
BSA Trike

1934 BSA TW34-10 Special Sports Three wheeler. VMCC eligible. These Sports versions have all alloy bodywork which were built in house at the BSA Small Heath works. During their production run from 1930 to 1936 they out sold Morgans by almost four to one. Ex Alvis man FW Hulse joined BSA & produced the ingenious BSA front wheel drive three wheeler - the first volume produced front wheel drive car in the world. First fitted with the BSA development of the old Hotchkiss V twin overhead valve air cooled engine. All models came with full electrics including electric start, coupled brakes, double transverse ifs & a three speed, (plus reverse) gearbox. Even more refined as this vehicle, the 1075cc 4 cylinder water cooled Special Sports side valve model which was introduced in 1933. Probably the best 3 wheeler ever made - with a surprising turn of speed. Properly restored in 1985 by last engineer owner using all original panels & fittings. Timber framing renewed. All numbers correct & original. Comes with a nice history file.
